JIC 37⁰ Flares

The Joint Industry Conference (JIC) fitting is the most common type of hydraulic connection. It consists of a parallel thread and a 37⁰ cone on the fitting end that can be attached to a flare pipe or hose fitting.

O-Ring Face Seals

O-ring face seals have a flat sealing surface that contains embedded seals for use with flanged pipe or hose fittings. The flat sealing surface reduces the risk of over-torque and the captured seal prevents leakage.

O-Ring Boss

The SAE straight thread O-Ring Boss (ORB) is the same thread as the straight thread 37⁰ JIC Flare. The difference is in the way each thread is sealed.

Inch Compression

Inch compression fittings are a type of bite type fitting for hydraulic hoses with very limited hose connections of this type. The fitting can be assembled in the field to hydraulic hard pipe with minimal tooling.

NPT Pipe Threads

NPT pipe threads are your traditional tapered thread fittings that have been in use for 100 years. They are available in low-pressure black iron and brass, as well as high-pressure steel and stainless steel. This type of connection is used in pneumatic and process systems as well as hydraulic systems.

DIN Metric 24⁰ Bite Type

This is the most common style of hydraulic coupling in Europe. As such, this type of hose coupling is available in a full range for use with metric sized piping. Newer versions of this fitting style feature captured elastomeric seals on the mating surfaces to provide better sealing and reusability.

Four-Bolt Flange

4-bolt flange connections conforming to SAE J518 and ISO 6162-1 and -2 are proven, leak-free connections that are especially suited for larger sizes, higher pressures, and assemblies in confined spaces.
